American Studies Institute in Ireland
The American Studies Institute in Ireland (ASII) campus is located in the town of Virginia, County Cavan, just 50 miles west of Dublin on Lough Ramor. The campus features walking trails on the 100-acre estate, and the property is bordered by several hundred acres of state-managed forest with additional miles of walking trails open to the public, many bordering the lakeside shoreline. In addition to dining at the Park, the town of Virginia is tourist friendly, and offers a variety of ethnic and Irish restaurants. Grocery stores and convenience stores offer visitors a variety of items to suit their shopping needs. Public transportation is also available a few blocks away on route N 3 to Dublin and Belfast. The American Studies Institute in Ireland hopes that you enjoy your visit to the Park. Céad míle fáilte—a hundred thousand welcomes.
