BIC Giving

Since our inception in 1972, Baltimore International College’s main priority has always been to provide exceptional hospitality management and culinary arts educations to its students, through experienced, knowledgeable faculty, up-to-date facilities (in Baltimore, MD, and County Cavan, Ireland) and teaching materials, and student financial aid.

How BIC uses financial gifts

Your contributions to Baltimore International College make a quality education accessible to more students. And we thank you for that.

As an independent, not-for-profit institution, BIC doesn’t generate profits for shareholders, nor do we receive the same funding as public colleges and universities. We rely on student tuition, as well as donations and grants, to support our current operations and expenses.

Capital Projects

BIC has a number of facility and technology-related capital projects, including:

  • Updating the culinary laboratories at the Culinary Arts Center
  • Installing new computers and monitors in the new Academic Support Lab in the Learning Resources Center

Program Support

Our culinary arts and hospitality management programs are a blend of career-focused and liberal arts education. This education prepares our students for rewarding careers, which generate goods and services to others. Program Support allows the College to:

  • Focus faculty, financial and facility resources on preparing students for careers in the culinary and hospitality industries
  • Offer continuing education opportunities to professionals in the field and others
  • Provide students with a strong foundation in liberal arts courses to support professional and personal development
